I was so excited when my cousin asked me to photograph her elopement in Whitefish, Montana last June. I arrived a few days early and captured photos on an epic hike to Iceberg Lake. S + L got married on the summer solstice at the edge of Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. It was a beautiful day with sun and rain, tears and laughter!

Read MoreI loved capturing photos with this family in the Seacoast this fall. The overcast skies and stunning scenery meant I could point my camera in any direction and get beautiful light and tones. I love the rocks, the trees, and historic fort features, which was especially appealing for the kids to explore. It was fun seeing them run and play.
Read MoreLillian chose to have her senior portraits along the Columbia River Gorge and wanted a natural place to explore. We lucked out with beautiful light and an epic sunset. Lillian had such great energy and we had so much fun creating these portraits together. I’m glad she was game for climbing on rocks and walking barefoot. These photos still feel like a dream to me!

My favorite part was how the sunlight streamed through the trees from a neighboring field. I had driven by this park many times when I lived in the area but never hiked the trails.
Read MoreFrom the river to the hills, this family had a fun fall adventure session in Salida, Colorado. We started out exploring along the Arkansas River near downtown. We let the little ones run, jump, climb, and play as they do best. After the kids got their fill by the water we took a short drive across the river to a hill overlooking Salida and the surrounding peaks.

We met at part of the Salida River Walk one summer evening and let the kids play along the water’s edge and under the canopy of the beautiful cottonwoods and willows while I captured candids and portraits.
