Summer Sunset by the River Family Adventure Session in Salida, Colorado

I love walking along the river and was grateful for the chance to capture Avery’s family memories in such a beautiful place. We met at part of the Salida River Walk one summer evening when the wildfire smoke shrouded our mountain view but gave us gorgeous golden light. We let the kids play along the water’s edge and under the canopy of the beautiful cottonwoods and willows while I captured candids and portraits. Avery is another local photographer who runs Paper Posey Photography and has been so sweet welcoming me to the community. I had so much fun capturing her family. I look forward to capturing many more memories along the river in Salida!
