Natural Creekside Backyard Family Adventure Session in Salida, Colorado

After the Thanksgiving holiday, I captured this extended family in their creekside backyard surrounded by the National Forest in Salida, Colorado. We made sure to capture them next to the historic barn on the property and explore down to the creek, too. It just goes to show you don’t have to go on a hike for an outdoor family adventure. We found so many different backdrops for photos from rustic fences to their beautiful aspens.

Foggy Beach Family Adventure with a Dog-Loving Couple in Kittery, Maine

Although there’s no blue ocean in sight, I loved getting to capture the foggy Maine shore. We rescheduled this shoot due to rain and got fog instead. It ended up working in our favor because it meant no one was at the beach on a Saturday evening in August. Plus, the lighting and the fog was gorgeous!

Golden Hour Aspen Adventure with a Dog-Loving Couple in Salida, Colorado

Val and Niko and their two dogs, Maci and Mocha, came up to Salida for an early morning hike to soak in the late September aspen color. I hope you can handle the amount of yellow and gold in this blog post!
