Outdoor Family Photography: Autumn Creek Adventures - Poncha Springs, Colorado

After I moved to Colorado and saw the beautiful cottonwoods turn autumn yellow I started dreaming of a photoshoot in their golden light. I’m so grateful to this family who helped to make it happen! I met them at their home first thing in the morning. After the kids played on the tire swing and I snapped a few family portraits, we meandered down a path to the creek. I love to capture children engaged in free play in nature and the riverbank with hollow trees, brushy meadows, and downed logs was a fun setting. Thank you to this playful and sweet family for a great session.
