Clear Creek Autumn Extended Family Session in Golden, Colorado

You can’t beat afternoon sun and peak foliage along Clear Creek in Golden, CO. This sweet extended family originally planned to have their photos taken on their annual visit to Salida, but COVID got in the way and we postponed. Everything happens for a reason and this beautiful autumn afternoon made it worthwhile to reschedule and meet up with the family in their hometown of Golden.

During the session, we ended up walking a good distance along the Clear Creek trail, stopping at various points to take portraits. I really enjoyed my time with this laid back and fun-loving group. They were all about giggling along as I tried my silly antics to get their dog’s attention for a few shots. As always, the candid photos of the family walking or goofing around with each other are my favorites from the afternoon.
