Winter Mountains Extended Family Session in Twin Lakes, Colorado

An extended family gathers for family portraits in Twin Lakes, Colorado surrounded by pine trees and snowy mountains

This extended family session made me fall in love with the scenery in Twin Lakes, Colorado. The tall pines, glimmering water, and snow capped peaks are quintessential Colorado! This family stayed at a beautiful mountain rental with epic views right from the property, so we didn’t need to venture far. It worked well with the chilly weather, so when people took turns for group portraits, everyone else could warm up inside.

All the families were gathered to celebrate their parents’ 45th wedding anniversary, which was so special. Plus, they did a great job styling everyone’s outfits so they looked great together without matching too much. I had a blast capturing snowy photos with the grandkids. The youngest, a baby, was no doubt the center of attention. How can you resist a face like that? Thank you so much to this beautiful family!
