They fell in love in Maine, moved away, had kids, and returned for family photos this summer. What a special session with my friends and their young boys. I was so excited when the timing worked out for us both to travel back to Maine this summer.
Read MoreFrom the river to the hills, this family had a fun fall adventure session in Salida, Colorado. We started out exploring along the Arkansas River near downtown. We let the little ones run, jump, climb, and play as they do best. After the kids got their fill by the water we took a short drive across the river to a hill overlooking Salida and the surrounding peaks.
Read MoreI met this family first thing in the morning on a beautiful, golden-leaf-lined trail by the Arkansas River in Salida. It had great autumn colors and stunning morning light. We explored the little paths here and there and ended the session on the riverbed itself.

We met at part of the Salida River Walk one summer evening and let the kids play along the water’s edge and under the canopy of the beautiful cottonwoods and willows while I captured candids and portraits.

We explored parts of San Isabel National Forest at the base of the Collegiate Peaks between Buena Vista and Salida, Colorado. Needless to say, it was a stunning morning.
